World Bank Seminar on communications reform health care

March 10, 2016 in the city. Kyiv was hosted a seminar with the World Bank communications reform in the health sector, which was attended by representatives of Ministry of Health of Ukraine, UNICEF, USAID, WHO, the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ukraine and other international partner organizations, World Bank consultants communications support for Group Management and sub ZMI.Lider programs on health, education, social security, vulnerability and conflict, World Bank of Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, Mr. Von Zao started with mainstreaming issues of health care reform in Ukrayni and stressed the importance of informing people about changes and trends in the industry, implementation of any reform is impossible without popular support, constant communication and individual approach for each target audience is very important for a positive perception of any changes.Deputy Health Minister Igor Perehinets introduced a new concept of health care reform in Ukrayni, to be able to respond to the real needs of people, to provide affordable and quality services and ensure financial protection feature is the change in funding under decentralization. The reform plan to carry out in 5 key areas: a new funding model industry, public health, pharmaceutical industry deregulation, primary care and public procurement. He stressed that one of the key elements of this reform is weighed quality communication with all stakeholders.During the meeting also discussed practical aspects of communication campaigns in the health sector in Ukraine by the example Polio campaign from UNICEF and mechanisms of communication messages. The facilitator of the seminar, Mr. Keith Conlon, an expert on communications has provided practical advice for activation of target audiences.
