Introduction of the British Medical Journal (BMJ)

On October 19, 2016, an introductory presentation of the British Medical Journal (BMJ) will be held in the office of the World Bank. Lviv oblast will be presented by the Acting Head of the Health care Department, Ms. Iryna Mykychak, by Chief specialist of the department for the organization of adult health care, cardiologist, Ms. Liliya Yuhymiv, and by the Subproject Management Consultant, Ms. Khrystyna Pak.
BMJ (TheBritishMedicalJournal) is a weekly medical journal of the British Medical Association which publishes articles in the medical field. However, the BMJ is not only a magazine, - it is a world famous platform of clinical information on the results of clinical studies and innovations in treatment. It is a resource for continuous improvement and skill development of the healthcare employees. The BMJ Team cooperates with more than 750 facilities in 60 countries, leading medical universities, ministries of health care, public and private clinics.
The project which will provide physicians of the primary care level with an opportunity to gain online/offline access to the evidence-based clinical information (including that needed for the treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases) and will help to improve the quality of medical care provision, is implemented in Ukraine with the support of the World Bank and the BMJ.
Three thousand family doctors will be offered access in order to integrate the Project with the oblast-level subprojects of the joint World Bank's and the Ministry of Health care of Ukraine "Serving People, Improving Health" Project.
