Under the Contract Agreement, the supply of equipment to the Lviv Oblast-level Cancer Treatment and Diagnostics Centre will be held in March, 2017. The total Contract Price is USD 1 320 500.00.

"An important event was held today, specifically the signing of the first Contract Agreement regarding the procurement of equipment under the World Bank's Project. "Preventive oncology" is a necessary project in the medical field, due to which doctors will have an opportunity to detect a disease at an early stage, because the well-being of women, especially those of the working age, is important for us. We purchased new modern equipment that would not only make it possible to carry out the diagnosis of a pathology associated with the breast and cervix, but other pathologies as well. The Lviv oblast is the first one among eight oblasts where the World Bank's Project is implemented; the oblast has already held the procurement procedure and is now at the stage of concluding the Contract Agreements with respect to the supply of equipment", - stated the Acting Head of the Health care Department, Iryna Mykychak.
