On January 9, 2019, doctors from Poltava conducted a unique operation - implantation of a three-chamber automatic cardioverter defibrillator. It is a kind of cardiac surgery that allows every third patient to get the necessary medical care and quit waiting of a heart transplantaton.

The 6th conference of this kind was already held.
On December 4, Volhyn Regional Clinical Hospital put into operation a modern angiograph, which allows for a wide range of surgical interventions, even on the smallest vessels, including the vessels of the brain.
