A Meeting of the Subproject "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumour technologies in the Lviv oblast" Management Group

On September 18, another regular meeting of the Subproject "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumour technologies in the Lviv oblast" Management Group was held in the Office of the Subproject, at Levytsky str., 14.

 

 

The latest meeting, led by Bogdan Romanovych Chechotka, with the participation of Myroslav Andriyovych Zvarych, the Deputy Head of HD of STSU in the Lviv oblast and the members of the SMU, was devoted to the discussion of the results of the second mission of the World Bank.

 

Bogdan Chechotka stressed the importance of the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers № 1047 as od 26.11.2008 "On the order of the initiation, preparation and implementation of economic and social development of Ukraine, supported by international financial institutions" - ensuring the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine in the meetings of the Committee for the selection of consultants, goods, works and non-consultancy services, established in the framework of the subproject implementation, with a decision to develop a petition to the appropriate Ministries to delegate the representatives.

 

The consultants presented the areas of informational campaign that will be conducted within the framework of the subproject implementation and technical specifications which have been submitted for approval to the World Bank upon endorsement by the SMU.

 

Pursuant to the protocol of the SMU as of 01/09/2015, Orest Tril, the deputy head physician of the medical unit in the State Cancer Treatment and Diagnostics Centre for the Lviv oblast, presented a list of experts recommended to undergo training under the subproject. The next meeting will be devoted to processing of a list of foreign institutions that can provide high-quality training sessions according to modern methods of screening, prevention, diagnosis of breast cancer and cervical cancer, and other advanced methods of preventive oncology.
