Workshop "The effectiveness of cytological cervical pathology screening"

Perhaps everyone may agree with the statement relevant to reporting in any sphere: "The rule of three: "done, passed, and forgot." 

 

How many managers, not for reference and generalization, but for real improvement in work, analyze the work done and reveal the gaps? - 50%? How many make conclusions and recommendations? - 25%? How many translate those recommendations into life? - 5%?

 

We will try to claim for that meager 5%

 

Today, on the basis of the Lviv Cancer Treatment Facility, a meeting was held between obstetricians, gynecologists, and cytologists on the topic of "The effectiveness of cytological cervical pathology screening".

 

Thanks to the implementation of the "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumor technologies in Lviv oblast", we were able to strengthen cytological and gynecological services. We have many qualified doctors, we promote a healthy lifestyle and the importance of regular medical examination ... but we are still far from the level of the neighboring countries in the early detection of diseases and their effective treatment.

 

The participants of the meeting analyzed the successes and problems of cytological screening in the Lviv oblast, screening coverage and screening plans, algorithms for additional examination of cytologically detected patients, monitoring of cytologically diagnosed women, and reporting on early cancers at the level of each territorial unit.

 

The well-known and developed issues will be implemented year, and we will be able to boast about the fact that were included into that 5%.
