Visit of consultant of Ministry of Health Ukraine to Zaporozhye region

During the visit were discussed the preparation of the information component of the sub-project, architectural aspects of medical information system that will be implemented in hospitals primary Zaporozhye area, patients identification problems in the system and security of personal data. Musica Vitaliya stressed the need for training of health workers on the use of information technology, highlighted the problems of integrating the new system into the ongoing activities of medical institutions. Also, a team of consultants and sub-project consultant of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for the Coordination of eHealth in Ukraine visited KU "Regional Information and Analytical Center for Health Statistics'. The Deputy Chief Coordinator eHealth in Zaporizhia region Viktor Tyutyunnik acquainted visitors with existing systems, data collection and analysis of health status Zaporozhye region.

 

eHealth (electronic health) - the use of electronic communication technologies to the needs of health care: patients, training of health workers, disease detection and monitoring of trends in public health. Sub-projects of the World Bank in the Zaporozhye region provides computerization in 3 centers of primary health care with appropriate training of personnel.
