- Successful solution for combating non-communicable diseases lies in the widespread implementation of prevention principles in health care and a healthy lifestyle - said Ivan - because training of primary and secondary units of care towards improving the prevention of all factors - our common task for the near future.

It focuses on the fact that much of the professionals of primary health care needs improving knowledge on counseling patients about the correction of behavioral risk factors for noncommunicable diseases. Because employees primary health care will be provided materials on the prevention of noncommunicable diseases and promoting healthy lifestyles aimed to own modern world instruments, regulations for counseling patients on the management of risk factors, their involvement and training elements of self and mutual help with dealing with risk factors in the system of continuous professional medical education.

Continuing will improve the level of knowledge and practical skills of effective technologies prevention of noncommunicable diseases, management of patients with hypertension and diabetes.

I.Shumeyko told Concept creation in Poltava region network of training centers. Thus, it is planned that each primary care facility, according to this concept will have organizational and methodological grounds - training classes for training of all health professionals. Along with doctors provided special training to nurses and paramedics Family Medicine. Regional centers have a wider scope of training exercises - in the cities Poltava, Kremenchug, Myrhorod, Lubny, Gadyach center and primary care Poltava region. A major organizational structure will be tertiary Training Center at the Regional Hospital in conjunction with VDNZU "Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy".

Components of the project are the World Bank along with the objectives and activities of a project, implemented in the support of the World Health Organization - "Noncommunicable diseases: prevention and health promotion in Ukraine." The highlight of this project is multi-cooperation of doctors, educators and non-governmental organizations to implement the range of measures to prevent non-communicable diseases. In the framework of the WHO have been trained 6 regional trainers will be attended by other experts in such training exercises.
