Zaporozhye doctors use access to the British Medical Journal

British Medical Journal in partnership with the World Bank has provided unlimited access to its resources for Ukrainian specialists. In this project, access to modules Best Practice and Learning received 4 medical institutions of primary health care of Zaporozhye region. One of the criteria for participation in the project was English. Currently, Zaporozhye experts have successfully obtained knowledge through distance learning technologies. The first webinar in the cycle training module focused on the treatment of chronic heart failure. This training was prepared by Dr. Syed Yusuf Vamyk from the Royal College of Medicine UK. During the study doctors received information about the classification, diagnosis and treatment of chronic heart failure based on evidence-based medicine. Her experiences of the participation in the project shared Anastasia Shilin, a general practitioner - family physician from 3 hospital of "Zaporizhzhya center primary care number 5": ""At BMJ resource information in the field is provided, which is constantly updated. A special advantage is that it is possible to study not only the current protocols for nosology, but also themes dealing with specific aspects of the symptoms or treatment of a disease.
