Implementation of IT in medical establishments of Veselivskiy district

February 24 as part of realizatio nof the sub-project of joint Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Bank project "Improving health in the service of the people" was conducted  a working visit to  Veselivskiy district of the region.

The work was organized in three business areas - the central district hospital, district centers of primary health care and district administration.

 

On the basis of  CI "Veselivska Central District Hospital" was held a meeting of the expert working group on implementation of medical information system (MIS) in the centers of primary health care (PHC), which was established by order of the Department of Health ZODA. Chief physician of Veselivskoyi CRH Kolesnik AM (Member of the Working Group) told about more than 10 years of experience of implementing their own medical information system in medical  establishment. Demonstration of the system, discussion of  its performance, organizational and financial issues have allowed experts working group to summarize thei sxperience while working over the technocal task of the implementation of MIS PHC centers as part of the World Bank project. After making changes and additions technical task would be discussed during  the meeting of the group of sub-project management.

In Veselivskyy district administration headed by Deputy Chairman of TI Galas was held a meeting of deputies of the district council, representatives of primary health care centers of Michailivskogo and Veselivskoho districts with consultant of  Zaporizhzhya subproject Odrynskiy VA and Chief Specialist Department of Health ZODA of family medicine Demidenko IR The meeting presented the achievements and plans for the implementation of the World Bank sub-project, discussed the possibility of participating of primary care centers in the project, the perspectives of development of  primary health care in the context of decentralization and health reform.

PHC Center of Veselivskiy district is one of the few centers in the area, which is actively implementing information technologies. The center with its own website. As part of the realization of  World Bank sub-projet, after receiving of the  multimedia equipment in central office heve been established cabinet of  telemedicine.
