The supply of medical equipment and furniture contributes

The process of supplying of medical equipment and furniture has been already started in primary healthcare institutions of Zaporizhzhia oblast. It became possible thanks to the implementation of subproject “Improvement of medical care for patients with circulatory system diseases in Zaporizhzhia oblast” by Health Care State Administration of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, together with the joint World Bank Project “Improving health in servicing people”, aimed at developing and strengthening primary health care in our area. Purchases were made for a total amount of more than 41.6 million UAH.
Centers of primary medical – sanitary care and their subunits will be completely provided with the equipment (sphygmomanometers from sets of cuffs, stethoscopes, medical cuffs on the thigh, otto/ophthalmoscopes (sets), medical measuring tapes, electronic medical scales, height measurers, blood glucose level control systems (glucose meters), electrocardiographs, pulse oximeters, according to PHC centers equipment outfit list (Order of Health Care Ministry of Ukraine dated December 27, 2013 No. 1150 “About the approval example of the material and technical equipment of PHCC outfit list its subunits , together with medical furniture (a couch desk, a desk, chairs, a wardrobe, a bookcase) according to the sent assessment of the needs of a medical institution.
The purchased medical equipment will provide an opportunity for effective work, providing quality standardized medical care to patients with blood circulation system diseases and improvement of dynamic surveillance of the population with risk factors. Updating of furniture will promote more qualitative and comfortable work in health care institutions, providing primary care in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
