Zaporizhzhya head doctors work in "ProZorro"

November 29-30, head doctors of primary level health care Zaporozhye region participate in the seminar on the work in the sustem of e-procurement "ProZorro". The event takes place in the frames of thematic improvement cycle "Modern aspects of management in public health" implemented jointly by Zaporozhye State Medical University, Department of Health ZODA and German International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, with the support of regional joint sub-project of the Ministry of health World bank project "Improvement of medical care to patients with diseases of the circulatory system." Cyril Nishenko,procurement consultant of Zaporizhzhya sub-project, gave necessary organizational and methodical support. The head doctors received the information on the main provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On public procurement", according to which, on 1 August 2016 the use of e-procurement "ProZorro" for government customers became manatory. They discussed issues of preparation of tender documentation, procedural differences of procurements, requirements for eligibility criteria of participants and procedure for appealing procurement procedures. Because for many healthcare managers procurement system «ProZorro" is a fairly new practice, after each information unit, speaker answered numerous questions of participants. Among the topics discussed were public control and accountability in public procurement.
