Meeting of sup-project management group in Zaporizhzhya

February 28, was conducted the regular meeting of the management of sub-project of the World Bank Project of the and Ministry of Health joint project "Improving medical care of patients with diseases of the circulatory system in the Zaporozhye region."

At the meeting were discussed issues on the current situation of the procurements within sub-project. The organization support of procurement processes, which held public opening of tenders: 2.1.2 Medical furniture for primary health care centers (national trades) and 2.1.3 Purchase of equipment in accordance with the table of equipment PHC center (international trades) was discussed. was given information of the creation and operation of special expert groups  in health department for evaluation of submitted proposals.
At he meeting were also examined a technical tak  for procurement 2.1.4 Software "Workplace family doctor." In combination with further procurement 2.1.5 "Purchase of computer equipment" will be creatied a unified health information system (MIS) in the primary care/
As a result of the creation of a common information space and introduction of MIS:
• Patients - should get better and quick treatment on the basis of their own characteristics, risk factors, early diagnosis and prevention activities to prevent diseases.
• Medical staff - will be able to automate routine processes of medical cards, working documents and get information providing guides; reduce administrative burden.
• Medical institutions - should receive accurate information about the health of patients and the attached populatio that will optimize workflows, efficiently plan their activities, predict trends in disease patterns, ensure rational use of resources of the health sector.
 Government - should receive accurate information in time about public health decision-making in the social sphere.
Department created a special expert group on IT to study initial version of technical task that wa  prepared by consultants of regional sub-project After making changes and additions by experts technical task will be presented at the meeting of the management of sub-projects. The English version considered at a meeting of technical specifications will be sent to the peer review experts of the World Bank.
