Lviv office of the project joined the Embroidered Shirt Day (Vyshyvanka Day)
The World Day of the Embroidered Shirt (Vyshyvanka Day) is an international festival which is intended to preserve the ancestral traditions of making and wearing ethnic Ukrainian embroidered clothing. This event is held each year on the third Thursday in May. The celebration is original and independent, not linked with any national or religious holiday. On that day every Ukrainian wears a Ukrainian embroidered shirt to work, university, school or kindergarten.
