Mammologists and gynaecologic oncologists visited Zhydachiv district

 

The third visit of mammologist and gynecologic oncologists was held in Zhydachiv district on November 25, 2016, within the "Cervical and breast pathology prevention Days" campaign, specifically:

 

- Implementation of screening associated with oncologic pathology in the Lviv oblast - V. Ludchak

 

- Cervical cancer screening - O. Oshchebskyi

 

- Breast cancer - M. Bilych,

 

as well as the report regarding the harmness of smoking from the point of cancer development, including lung cancer, in terms of the urgency of the topic of preventive oncology and healthy living:

 

- Lung cancer - T. Rohovyi

 

Ms. Khrystyna Pak, the Subproject Management Consultant, spoke about the implementation of the "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumor technologies in Lviv oblast".

 

Each representative of the outpatient unit and the medical and obstetric centre, as well as the doctors from the district hospitals received promotional materials with information on the prevention, screening, symptoms, and treatment of cervical and breast cancer.

 

We are very pleased that all the reports and thesis arouse lively discussion. Doctors know that the residents of Zhydachiv district territorially belongs to the multi-district screening center of the city of Stryi. It's nice when the audience is alive and responds to the information received.
