Siemens visits the premises for medical equipment

The experts of SiemensHealthCare, Hubertus Jochem, Sales Director of SiemensHealthCare GmbH (Germany), Robert Chagalian, head of "healthcare" department of Healthineers Siemens Ukraine, and technical engineer of medical devices, Roman Handeldy, visited Lviv State Cancer Treatment and Diagnostis Centre.
Examination of the premises of the Lviv Cancer Treatment and Diagnostics Centre was the purpose of the visit, where sophisticated diagnostic equipment is going to be installed by SiemensHealthCare GmbH (Germany), in accordance with the concluded contracts for the supply of medical equipment under the "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumor technologies in Lviv oblast" Subproject.
Therefore, the experts visited the premises of the computed tomography, X-ray rooms, mammography room, and the room for SPECT/CT.
In general, the experts highlighted good condition of the premises and high degree of their readiness, as most of them function as operating diagnostic rooms.
It is expected that the supply of medical equipment by Siemens will start already this spring.
Note: As part of the joint World Bank's and the Ministry of Health care of Ukraine "Serving People, Improving Health" Project, specifically within the "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumor technologies in Lviv oblast" Subproject, on December 22, 2016, the Health care Department signed an agreement with SiemensHealthCare GmbH (Germany) for the supply of medical equipment for a total of 4.7 mln. EUR. In accordance with the signed agreements, CT, SPECT/CT, fluoroscopy device and C-arm, as well as digital mammography devices and ultrasound devices will soon be delivered to the health care facilities.
