Electronic registry in the daily work of facilities

Stryisky central municipal hospital, onthe basis of which the multi-district screening center operates, systematically introduces into the work the Medical information system. Due to the well-coordinated collaboration of the mammography office staff at the Stryi municipal polyclinic with gynecologists and family physicians in the Mykolaiv, Zhydachiv, Stryi, and Skole districts of the Lviv oblast in terms of screening of the female population towards cervical and breast cancer, e-Health is being introduced in the Lviv oblast, namely the medical information system Doctor Eleks, the electronic registry of the female population.

 

After visiting the aforementioned specialists, an electronic medical card was set up for each patient, which will provide a great opportunity in the future to analyze patients' data and to facilitate the exchange of information with other medical facilities. Convenient data search system makes it easy to find the necessary information in large volumes of medical records.

 

The outpatient unit for family medicine of the polyclinic department at Stryi CMH is working with the Doctor Eleks medical information system. The outpatient unit staff includes 4 doctors and 4 nurses for general practice and family medicine. For early detection of a pathology in gynecologic oncology, we refer women with controlled examination results for mammography and cytological examination.

 

In 2017, 1 707 women underwent mammography examination at the polyclinic department of the Stryi CMH, and 444 women underwent examination from the beginning of 2018. All data of women are entered into the MIS Doctor Eleks.

Doctors for general practice and family medicine of the Stryi CMH, enter the medical information system Doctor Eleks under their login data.

While working in the medical information system Doctor Eleks, medical nurses for general practice and family medicine enter personal data of women when they are referred for cytology and mammography.

A radiologist describes mammography, introduces information into the Doctor Eleks MIS.
