On August 28, 2015 the Ministry of Health care of Ukraine held a meeting of the Coordination Group of the Project "Improving health, Serving People".
Lviv region was presented by Bogdan Chechotka, the Head of the Health care Department and the coordinator of the sub-project "Preventive oncology and implementation of effective anti-tumour technologies in the Lviv region", and by Orest Tril, the deputy chief physician in the Cancer Treatment and Diagnostics Centre for the Lviv oblast.
The meeting was devoted to discussion of issues related to oblasts' readiness and preparation for the project implementation. Nowadays, Lviv oblast is among the top in terms of its preparation for implementing the project
Another important item on the agenda was the preparation for the next mission of the Bank (September, 7-13, 2015), in the framework ofwhich it has been envisaged to organizevisits ofoblasts participating in the project by the Project Coordination Group and by the representatives of the World Bank.
