Expanded meeting of the Subproject Managment Unit of Lviv OSA

An expanded meeting of the Subproject "Oncology prevention and effective anti-tumour technologies implementation in the Lviv oblast" Management Unit was held in the office of the subproject, at Levytskoho str., 14.

On September 1, 2015 was held a regular meeting of the SMU led by Bogdan Chechotka with the representatives of the Finance Department of Lviv Oblast State Administration, the Department of Treasury, and the head physician and oncologists from the Lviv Oblast State Cancer Treatment and Diagnostics Centre.

 

In the agenda, the subproject coordinator briefly described the achievements towards project implementation and introduced the consultants, according to the evaluation reports. The importance of the preparation for the Mission of the Bank scheduled for 7-14 September 2015, was also highlited; the mission envisages the visits to the oblasts participating in the project. Bogdan Chechotka stressed that all the experts involved in the project should work in concert with each other to achieve a successful outcome.

 

The participants also  discussed the need to ensure an adequate level of co-financing from the regional budget in 2016 under the terms of the World Bank.

 

The most important item on the agenda was selection of the experts for approval of terms of reference for the procurement of medical equipment. As opinions of the qualified expertst should be a decisive factor in making the final decision to determine the crucial criteria for the medical equipment.
