A Meeting of the Subproject "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumour technologies in the Lviv oblast" Managment Unit

A regular meeting of the Subproject "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumour technologies in the Lviv oblast" Management Unit was held in the office of the Subproject, at K. Levytsky, 14.

 

 

A regular meeting of the Subproject "Preventive oncology and the implementation of effective anti-tumour technologies in the Lviv oblast" Management Unit was held on October 1, 2015.

The issues of the readiness of the tender documentation for the procurements which will take place in the framework of the project were discussed. It was endorsed to publish the invitation for the submission of quotes in terms of the the first procurement to be held within the project, namely design and printing of information materials for the public.

 

An important item on the agenda was the consideration of comments and corrections made by the World Bank regarding the technical requirements for medical equipment in the framework of preparation for the procurement procedures. It was endorsed to make necessary rectifications and to resubmit the documentation to the World Bank.

 

Also in the framework of the Subproject it was envisaged to establish four multi-district screening centres in Drohobych, Sambir, Chervonograd, and Lviv. At the meeting of the SMU, it was endorsed to establish an additional screening centre in the city of Styi, since the city is a transportation hub of the western part of the oblast with comfortable transport links from remote mountain settlements.
