Presentation of Public Opinion Poll on Healthcare to Take Place in Rivne

A presentation of the results of public opinion poll Healthcare Sector in Rivne Region involving the director of Sociological Group Rating, Rivne Region State Administration management and Sub-project Management Unit implementing the World Bank project Serving People, Improving Health will take place at 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, in the building of Rivne RSA (room 201).

It is to be recalled that Rivne region is one of the eight regions of Ukraine implementing the World Bank Project Serving People, Improving Health. In particular, annual public opinion polls on medical services quality are planned as part of it. Since the Project is aimed at improvement of cardiovascular diseases treatment, the polls, in the first place, cover cardiovascular diseases and their prevention.

Four opinion polls are planned under the Project. In addition to “cardiovascular matters”, these polls make it possible to assess Rivne region dwellers’ awareness of family medicine and their trust in it, and whether the respondents know their family physicians and actually make use of their services. These opinion polls were also used to assess the ‘medical culture’ of Rivne region dwellers.
