Two Contracts That Will Improve Medical Care in Vinnytsia Oblast

A company from Kharkiv will provide healthcare facilities with telemetry equipment, whereas the Spanish partners will carry out professional supervision of construction of a new cardiac center in Vinnytsia. These two important contracts were signed on 23 May 2017 under the implementation of the World Bank investment Subproject Oblast level services improvement in Vinnytsia oblast, aimed at improving the quality of medical care and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Both contracts are the result of international competitive bidding.

The first is related to the provision of the current Cardiac Center, the Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine Center, as well as primary and secondary medical care facilities with new diagnostic equipment. In general, under this contract, TREDEX LLC (Ukraine, Kharkiv) will deliver 311 ECG telemetry devices (electrocardiographs) for the primary medical care facilities, as well as 2 central stations for remote reception of ECG signals. This equipment will allow remote and efficient full-time diagnostics of patients with suspected acute coronary syndrome and other cardiovascular disorders.

The second contract is related to engineering and consulting supervision of construction of a new cardiac center in Vinnytsia. Professional supervision for several years will be performed by the Spanish company EPTISA SERVICIOS DE INGENERIA, S. L. Its specialists will provide technical supervision of construction, compliance with requirements during the bidding process, bidding procurements and, above all, will constantly advise the Subproject Management Unit. This will make the construction delay impossible and allow to avoid technical errors.

The total value of the two contracts 1,001,940.00 US Dollars.

The contracts were signed with the participation of representatives of regional and municipal executive authorities, managers of the companies that will render services and in the presence of the local Subproject Management Unit.
