1000 copies of practical guidelines Ischemic Heart Disease, Acute Coronary Syndrome. Key Provisions were published through the cooperation of the Health Care Department of Vinnytsia Oblast State Administration and National Pyrohov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia.
The publication is addressed to health professionals who are usually the first to contact with the patient - medical assistants of emergency medical care crews. In the guidelines, they will be able to find answers on effective diagnostics of an acute condition of the patient, to choose the treatment tactics in the pre-hospital settings, to prevent complications. It is at an early therapy that European and global protocols of medical care provision to patients with ACS are based. The use of advanced international experience will enable Ukraine to bring the medical industry to a qualitatively new level.
A considerable part of the guidelines materials is devoted to prophylaxis. This concerns the risk factors and the role of health professionals in the formation of conscious attitude of the population toward health.
During the work over the guidelines, the authors – Professor Yurii Mostovyi and Professor Lesia Rasputina - were guided by national and international documents, as well as many years of expertise of the Department of Internal Disease Propaedeutics of Pyrohov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia.
