World Bank delegation visited Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia region

11-13 April, a delegation of the World Bank consultants Khimich Natalie, Eugenia Matyushko, Irene Shmelev, Yuri and Sergey Dyachenko Skopalyuka visited Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya region to discuss the pressing issues of the sub-project teams and revision of TD. 11-12 April, meetingwas held in the city Dnepropetrovsk, involving consultants of sub-project of the World Bank Zaporozhye region. During the meeting were discussed issues of preparation of construction documents, right-statutory documents and plans for joint activities with the Department of Health. As the World Bank project in the Dnipropetrovsk region is designed for 400 mln. USD. and provides capital building hospitals, the procurement of services and products for construction, wee discussed, especially the preparation of project documentation, security of workers during construction. Irina Shmelev stressed on the basic principles and requirements of the World Bank - a savings, efficiency, competition, quality of consulting services and drew the attention to the peculiarities and differences of international law. April 13? the delegation visited the city Zaporozhye, where along with the sub-project consultants Zaporozhye region, representatives of the Department of Health and members of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration handled available documentation, discussed the preparation of tenders for the purchase of medical equipment and furniture, recommendations to accelerate the preparation of documentation, discussed the timing of the phases of the project.
