Improving medical care to patients with diseases of the circulatory system in the Zaporozhye region

Participation in the Zaporozhye region of the World Bank to reform the regional health system aims to ensure equal and fair access of all citizens to health care of appropriate quality by strengthening the regional network of primary health care, implementation of prevention programs for cardiovascular diseases, increase efficiency health care.

 

The main activities for the project provides additional training of medical personnel PHC centers early detection and treatment of patients with diseases of the circulatory system, creating a registry of patients with such diseases and risk factors, the purchase of new equipment for the clinics, the introduction of incentives for medical personnel.

 

Expected effects of the implementation of the Project:

 

-increasing manning states PHC;

 

-raising the availability of primary health care;

 

-raising the quality of primary health care;

 

-zrostannya awareness about their own capabilities and services, primary health care in the prevention of chronic diseases;

 

-raising patients' adherence to treatment of chronic diseases.

 

Improving the accessibility and quality of primary care patients with diseases of the circulatory system in the long run will reduce death and disability from the public area of ??pathology.

 

Thus, the World Bank project will combine the efforts of all sectors of Zaporozhye region in health care to improve health.
