The Sub-project Support Consultancy Unit of the World Bank Project Serving People Improving Health currently being implemented in Rivne region greeted Dubno boarding school pupils with St. Mykola's Day. St. Mykola visisted the orphanage together with the consultants and entertained the children with a Christmas show and made them presents of sweets. -
19.12.2016250 Family Physicians Completed Training in Emergency Management
More than a thousand family physicians from around Rivne region are to undergo trainings in emergency management of myocardial infarction in patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases. This activity is in the action plan of the World Bank Project Serving People, Improving Health in Rivne region. This year, more than 250 doctors successfully completed such a training. -

The team implementing Sub-project Increase the effectiveness of treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in Rivne Region for the period of 2015-2020 reported on the results of their activities. The Consultants debriefing was attended by the reporters of more than ten local and regional mass media, as well as by active dwellers of Rivne, the representatives of Rivne RSA Community Council. The cardiologists involved, the entire Rivne team of the World Bank consultants, the management of Rivne region Health Department were also invited. -

A two-day training for family physicians ended in Rivne region. On the results of the training, 21 district doctors received certificates from the World Bank, Ukrainian Ministry of Health and Rivne RSA. -
19.08.2016World Bank Organized Trainings for Family Physicians of Rivne region
21 family physicians from 16 districts of the region arrived in Rivne to undergo trainings. The two-day trainings under the World Bank project being implemented in Rivne region are provided by six trainers. They specialize in general practice, cardiology, neurology and anesthesiology. -

On June 23, a team of World Bank experts made a working visit to Rivne region as part of an implementation support mission within the Serving People, Improving Health Project. In the first place, the reform is aimed at improving the primary-level medicine of the region.
The team started its visit in Korets with a meeting with Oleksii Muliarenko, Head of Rivne Region State Administration. -
