10.04.2017Cardiac Center Construction - Public Hearingя
On 31 March 2017, in the Assembly Hall of Primary Medical Care Center (PMCC) No. 1 of the city of Vinnytsia, a public hearing to discuss the draft Environmental Management Plan for the construction of Vinnytsia regional clinical center for Treatment and Diagnostics of Cardiovascular Diseases was held. Meeting participants were primarily interested in the potential impact of this construction on the environment and residents of the households adjacent to the construction site. -
01.03.2017Appropriate Documentation is the Success of Future Procurements!
Vinnytsia subproject aimed to help patients with cardiovascular diseases has received a matrix of priorities and performance indicators for the preparation of documentation for the procurement of construction works.
Practical support was provided by the representatives of the Serving People, Improving Health Project Consultancy Support Unit of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine — Ye. Matiushko (Regions Coordination Consultant) and Yu. Bilan (Procurement Consultant), who participated in the workshop held on February 28 in Vinnytsia. -
10.02.2017Subproject Management Unit Meeting
On 10 February, in the premises of Vinnytsia Oblast State Administration, a meeting of the Management Unit of Oblast level services improvement in Vinnytsia oblast, aimed at improving the quality of medical care and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Sub-project was held addressing the stages of implementation of the Sub-project, preparation of the Bidding Documents for the procurement of construction works for the new Cardiac Center and procurement of medical equipment. -
01.02.2017Public Hearing: Environmental Management Plan
Within the framework of regional sub-project Oblast level services improvement in Vinnytsia oblast, aimed at improving the quality of medical care and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, the Environmental Management Plan for the construction of Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Center for Treatment and Diagnostic of Cardiovascular Diseases was designed, the main purpose of which is to assess environmental and social impacts regarding the timely prevention of potential negative consequences for the environment and social environment during the subproject implementation in accordance with the requirements of current legislation. -
30.01.2017Financial Proposals are Opened in Vinnytsia
The competition was organized within the joint project of the World Bank and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Serving People, Improving Health and its regional component — Sub-project in Vinnytsia oblast. 4 companies have been selected to submit their technical and financial proposals to the Consultants, Goods, Works and Non-consulting Services Selection Committee. -

27.10.2016Press Conference on Physicians Training
Purpose of the training is to improve the professional level of primary care medical personnel who are the first to contact with the patient, thus to reduce mortality, morbidity and disability in the adult population from circulatory system diseases.
The trainings were held at Vinnytsia Oblast Clinical Oncology Center (VOCOC) with the participation of scientists of the Department of Internal Disease Propaedeutics of the Medical University and specialists of Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Center for Cardiovascular Diseases.
Every such lesson consisted of a theoretical part, analysis of specific complex clinical cases and visit to the X-ray Surgical Unit of Vinnytsia Cardiac Center. -

11.10.2016International initiative "Stent of life»
To share practical experience and scientific developments, the legends of the world cardiosurgery, Maksim Sokolov (chief independent specialist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with a degree in "Cardiology", M.D., Professor) and Yurii Sokolov (corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, Chairman of the Board of interventional cardiologists of Ukraine, M.D., Professor) visited Vinnytsia. He was the first in Ukraine to conduct coronary angioplasty back in 1993. Similar operations have become possible in Vinnytsia only since 2008, when an angiograph – an apparatus for the diagnosis and treatment of vessels - appeared at the Regional Center. -

15 вересня в обласному центрі відбулась унікальна для регіону подія: бригада вінницьких лікарів під керівництвом одного з кращих у Європі ендоваскулярних хірургів, професора Юрія Авдосієва, провела кілька операцій з хіміоемболізації. Формат майстер-класу професор обрав, аби поділитися власним багаторічним досвідом з колегами і дати можливість в майбутньому розвивати на Вінниччині цю методику лікування онкозахворювань. Участь в операції взяли фахівці ВОКОД та Вінницького регіонального клінічного лікувально-діагностичного центру серцево-судинної патології. Кілька місяців тому вони уклали угоду про співпрацю, адже перші спеціалізуються на лікуванні раку, а другі – мають практичні навички ендоваскулярних втручань і необхідне для цього обладнання. -

Remote consultations save from errors
The advisory telemetry center within the Emergency Medical Aid and Catastrophe Medicine Center was established on 01 August 2015. Its aim is to improve the detection of acute cardiovascular disorders, reducing the mortality and incapacitation of the population. The establishment of this structural unit has provided opportunity for every patient with suspected acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, irregular heart rhythm and other complications to receive timely and competent aid regardless of the time of reference and location in the oblast. -

21.04.2016NO ALTERNATIVES TO STENTING: VINNYTSIA EXPERIENCE
Coronary stenting is almost a bloodless surgery that involves minimum risks and does not require long rehabilitation. In fact, it is a progressive panacea for people with vascular diseases or possible infarction. In March alone, 35 free routine coronary angiographies were carried out and 11 free stents were deployed at Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Cardiac Center within the framework of joint implementation of the World Bank investment subproject. -
