On 31 March 2017, in the Assembly Hall of Primary Medical Care Center (PMCC) No. 1 of the city of Vinnytsia, a public hearing to discuss the draft Environmental Management Plan for the construction of Vinnytsia regional clinical center for Treatment and Diagnostics of Cardiovascular Diseases was held. Meeting participants were primarily interested in the potential impact of this construction on the environment and residents of the households adjacent to the construction site.

The World Bank’s assessment mission in the regions had been working in Poltava region for four days and presented the 3-year project to support reform and management in health care
On March 23rd, the delegation of the World Bank’s assessment mission to the project regions and director of the Department of Health Viktor Lysak met with the Chairman of Poltava Regional State Administration Valeriy Holovko.

7. Portable fetal doppler

10. Tonometer with cuffs for measuring blood pressure in the arms and legs and baby cuff
11. Portable oto-ophthalmoscope (fundus examination)
12. Portable nebulizer, nebulizer kit (mask, mouthpiece, camera)

It is planned to procure more than 20 units of expensive cardiovascular care equipment under the World Bank Project Serving People, Improving Health, in particular an angiography complex, 12 lead ECG machines, cardiac ultrasound scanners, cardiac monitors, medical ventilators, defibrillators, etc.
The first of the four annual opinion polls on health care in Rivne region was presented today by the experts of Sociological Group Rating. Although these opinion polls are conducted as part of the World Bank Project Serving People, Improving Health, the social scientists analyzed issues relating to cardiovascular diseases and also the state of health care in the region as a whole.
